medieval villages and modern art in the same day makes my head spin

Tourrettes is yet another picture perfect medieval village

then we went to St Paul de Vence

you can see the Mediterranean in the distance

Art galleries and shops line the little streets in St Paul

(unfortunately neither of these are my rental car)

The we went to Fondation Maeght where I was mostly excited
about seeing some Miro. Love!

Miro just makes me smile inside

'Deux yeux' by Alexander Calder

This is a called 'Le rat des sables' (rat in the sand) by Miro

Lydia and a big Miro sculpture

Then we popped into a modern art gallery
and saw this pig stuffed and tatooed

and this sculpture comprised of beetle bodies and a bone

and this neon...

which brings to mind the question my brother Sean
poses on his site. That question being "what is art?"

I like this chair

Lydia and I both liked this

Ha! If this space ship landed on earth, would you climb aboard?

Like alot!
