The French can be so dire.

Dinner-our last night in Marseille.
These little birds have me pegged as a tourist.

I fed them an entire slice of bread.

I love this profile of the dog riding in the car in front of us.

Getting ready to board the TGV for our trip back to Paris.

Lydia settles back for our 3 hour trip.

Turn your cell phone ringer off!

If there's a dog, Tracy will photograph it.

At last! Back to Paris.

Dinner was at Chez Janou in the Marais.

Our bottle of wine had braille on the label too.

The salade Janou to start. Yum!

Mousse au chocolat at Chez Janou.

When the guy came with a HUGE bowl of mousse to spoon
some on my plate- I said "un peu" meaning just a little.
He said to me in all seriousness
"But zis might be zee last time you take zee mousse."
What the hell I thought, he's right....let me take plenty of the mousse in this life.

Marseille Pullman - why they call it Palm Beach I don't know

But it's a very nice hotel and the Mediterranean is outside my door.

I want this cow but it won't fit in my luggage.

Marseille

I had to take another dog photo as this was inside a popular
department store here in France called Galeries Lafayette.
Which I really, really need to stay out of.

Vence to Cassis to Marseille

Claude France setting out breakfast at Villa Canto Grihet in Vence

Having my morning cafe au lait

On A8 heading back west towards Marseille

We stop in Cassis

You can be topless on the beach but please cover up
for walking around town, that sounds reasonable enough.

Pastries in a shop.

My feet; Mediterranean Ocean this time.

Leaving Cassis and driving towards Marseille.

A fun road to drive but I kept wanting to look at the view.

Returning the rental car in Marseille: 3363.3 km driven,
I'm not sure how many towns, no pedestrians injured,
no fenders bent, no tickets issued and my passengers intact.
I am so glad I get to be a passenger for the rest of this trip!

Something with alot of motorcycles was happening on our way to dinner.

Boullabaisse in Marseille at the restaurant Miramar.

The harbor in the Old Port of Marseille.
